Refresher Training to HMV Drivers

SUPRATIVA and Women and Child Welfare Society, members organization of FPRA have been taking a lead role in the most accident sensitive area of the State and conducting Refresher Training Course for Heavy Motor Vehicle Drivers in collaboration with the Department of Road Transport & Highways, Government of India. Within a caple od years, more that 3000 HMV Drivers of unorganized sectors have been benefited under this training programme. Qualified persons conduct the training courses. Broadly it cover different subjects like essential quality of a driver; causes of accidents are their remedies, traffic control measures, road signs, traffic rules, lane discipline, overtaking, parking etc. with test check on roads and brief medical checkup. Considering the need of AIDS awareness, the Organisation also conduct special session on this topic. The participating drivers are issued with personal insurance of Rupees 1.00 lakh with cash incentive by the organization.
