Nirapada Sadaka Surakhita Jibana

Visual media is one of the most important means of creating awareness and effectively communicating road safety message. Some of the road safety films have been very effective in creating an impact in the minds of the public. But most unfortunately these films are limited and not much investment is being made by various stakeholders in developing these as effective and powerful tools. Considering this issue, Forum for Prevention of Road Accidents has started production of good films on road safety and accident prevention.

Another film “Nirapada Sadaka – Surakhita Jibana” was produced by us in collaboration with Orissa Road Safety Society. The film highlights the cause and consequences of road accidents, traumatic condition of victims after road traffic crash and targets all categories of road users. The film has amply received many positive feedbacks. The projection of the film raised awareness on the magnitude and severe impact of road traffic crashes on families and society, the need for improved post-crash care, support for the bereaved and injured.
